Where to use: Ledges, eaves, angle irons, I-Beams and most "L" shaped ledges where total exclusion is the goal.

Birds were roosting and nesting on this ledge. After BirdSlide was installed, they couldn't land. Swallows were roosting under the eaves of this home. BirdSlide was installed at an inverted angle, preventing the birds from making nests.
 


A. Ledges 3" to 6" Wide: Cut the trim area at the appropriate width.

B. 6" Ledges: Use BirdSlide exactly as it comes out of the box.

C. Ledges Wider than 6": Attach these special extensions for even wider coverage.

D. BirdSlide can be installed under eaves to exclude mud swallows.
BirdSlide sits on the base (C). The extension (A) can be trimmed to accommodate narrow ledges and beams. End Caps slide (see right) slide into the triangular base opening. Color-matched end-caps enable the applicator to install a seamless, attractive solution. The tube slides snugly into the triangular base opening. Simply glue them in and you re done (sold in a pack of 5 right and 5 left end caps).

When Total Exclusion is a Must
As most bird control experts know, there are ledges where heavy pressure (nesting birds) demands an exclusion system, and netting may be visually unacceptable. BirdSlide completely protects the ledge against all bird species; they simply can t get a grip and slide  right off the ledge.

Designed to Disappear
When color matched to the structure, BirdSlide usually looks like it s a part of the building. It comes in gray or beige, but can be painted to match any color.

BirdSlide can be installed on many different sizes of ledges. Birdslide is designed to include 4 inches of trim area. This will allow you to custom fit BirdSlide according to the width of the ledge.

BirdSlide™ is a permanently installed bird control barrier that provides a long lasting solution to bird nesting and roosting. The “Slide” acts as both a visual and physical deterrent that makes it impossible for any bird to land upon the protected surface. It is designed to fit into the eaves, ledges, beams, angle irons, and other areas of a building structure. BirdSlide™ can be used to deter a wide variety of architectural bird problems caused by all species
of pest birds. It is especially well suited to heavy pressure activity where roosting or nesting birds are known to overpower spikes and other products.

Painting

BirdSlide™ is available in a standard gray and can be painted to match any building color. Most home improvement stores provide excellent choices of exterior coat paints that will work well with this product. To achieve a quality, well-camouflaged result when painting BirdSlide™, preparation is key. Adhesives

For best installation results, we recommend a commercial grade, weather resistant, urethane based adhesive. Please refer to your local pest control distributor company for adhesive suggestions or call our technical support department for a list of appropriate adhesives. (Ultimate Bond)
